An update on 4/21

Parents, my "office hours" will be every Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 PM. I will check email throughout the day, but this is dedicated time I will be at my computer and available to answer questions. Also, I have a Zoom link if you would like to have an "instant meeting" face-to-face. Email me to set this up.

Thank you for supporting your child's education at home!

Ms. Verner

Parents and students,

I'm sure everyone has heard by now that schools will now be closed through the remainder of the academic year. I was very sad to hear this news but know that my students are enthusiastic, smart, and prepared to face the challenge!

At this time, Dr. Walts, Superintendent of PWCS, is encouraging everyone to take care of themselves and to keep reading. Don't worry about the academics, PWCS and the state are working on a plan to catch everyone up.

I have now posted information and links to help review concepts covered so far this school year (2019-2020). The 4th grade team has worked hard to provide you with optional resources and activities now that school is closed through the remainder of the year.

We will also be meeting each morning at 10 AM using Zoom. Check ClassTag for the website, and join with a phone, tablet, or laptop.

It is on the left side of this page under "Resources for Material Already Covered 2019-2020." The title of the file is "Pacing Updated 2020 with learning resources." Let me know if you have trouble accessing it.

If needed, Science files and activities are on Mrs. Kaplan's page.

Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Contact me via ClassTag or email with any questions or concerns.
